MEDITATION
Enjoy the tranquility of this Peaceful Garden

~

Imagine a small waterfall

Surrounded by various bright and fragrant flowers

Imagine you are sitting in front of this waterfall

You could be on a rock in the center of a large pond

Or sitting on the ground getting connected with the earth

Imagine feeling some of the waterfall's spray misting over you

Once you have this picture in your mind ... proceed

~

~ Relax ~

~

~ Let your mind slow down ~

~

~ Allow your thinking to cease ~

~

~ As you listen you can hear the splashing of the waterfall ~

~ And the water dancing lightly over the rocks ~

~

~ Taking a deep breath ~ you feel the stillness in the area ~

~

~ You smell the flower blossoms gently wafting on a small breeze ~

~ Far off you hear the sound of birds merrily chirping out their song ~

~ Here in the stillness you hear the quiet hum of small insects as they go about their business ~

~

~ Softly ~ you sit still ~ scarcely daring to breathe ~

~ You notice that an inner tranquility is finding its way through you ~

~ Spreading slowly ~

~ Limb by limb ~

~ Until you feel at ease ~

~

~ Soft, gentle breezes play on the leaves ~

~ Moving them ever so slightly ~

~

~ Scarcely wanting to move ~ you glance as small butterflies flit over the stream ~

~

~ Watching them ~ you notice how restful it is here ~

~ And you take a deep, quiet, breath ~

~ Then let it out in a small sigh ~

~

~ Feeling very peaceful ~

~ You continue to sit and watch this area of pleasure ~

~

~ You let your mind go quite quiet ~

~ You let your soul feel free ~

~ You allow yourself to enjoy the moment ~

~

~ After a while ~

~

~ When you have had your fill ~

~

~ Taken several long, deep, quiet, breaths ~

~

~ You allow yourself to slowly come back to awareness ~

~ Focusing on the sounds of nature once more ~

~

~ Opening your eyes you see the quiet life around you ~

~

~ Feeling totally at peace ~

~ Feeling truly at ease ~

~ Feeling full of life ~

~

~ You give thanks to the wonderful nature spirits ~

~ You give thanks to your God above ~

~

~ Then slowly you rise ~

~ Knowing that you may return at will ~

~ To this ~

~ Your place of tranquility ~

~ And inner peace ~
