MEDITATION
Lose Yourself in the Paradise Bridge

~

Imagine seeing a large, quiet pond with all kinds of flowers and leaves

Imagine seeing an old bridge across the middle of it ~ connecting the two sides

The bridge could be wooden or stone

Imagine flowers and other vegetation growing up the ends of the bridge
where it connects with the land

Imagine hearing the sounds of nature all around you

Imagine feeling a light, soft breeze on your skin

Once you have this picture in your mind ... proceed

Sit back ~ and relax

~

As you let your mind wander ~ gently but firmly bring it to state of silence

~

Breathe out your stresses ~ breathe in stillness and peace

~

Let tranquility wash through you

~

Be at peace

~

Focus on the bridge ~ on the details of the flowers

~

You may find yourself looking deeper into the flowers

~

Seeing each tiny petal

~

Imagining that you can smell some of those flowers

~

Perhaps a scent of jasmine?

~

Inhale deeply

~

Let your body relax

~

Imagine the sounds of running water

~

A slow moving stream

~

Water dances on the rocks

~

Sunlight finds its way to the stream and flowers

~

But the  trees and lush greenery are thick

~

They add a mystery to the scene

~

With its dark shadows and and hidden crevices

~

Rest your eyes on the scene

~

And as you contiue to breathe out your daily stresses

~

Keep this picture focused frimly in your mind

~

So that you may call on it

~

Whenver you feel the need to unwind

~

Or simply enjoy a few peaceful moments
