YOUR ANIMAL BIRTH TOTEMS
I have listed here three ways of finding your
birth totems. Included are the Zodiac
birth signs, Chinese Zodiac birth signs and the Native American Zodiac birth
signs. One type of Zodiac chart you may
relate to more than another which is perfectly normal. However you might want to check out all
three Zodiac’s animal signs to give yourself a more rounded view.
ZODIAC BIRTH SIGN
If
you don't have objects of art in your residence, etc. that represent wolves,
bears, eagles, cats, dogs, unicorns or any other creature in particular, then
perhaps the easiest method of acquiring a totem animal [other than being born
with an animal surname] is to accept the symbol of your birth sign as your
spirit helper.

THE CHINESE ZODIAC
Exponents
of the Chinese Zodiac believe that the year of a person's birth is the primary
factor in determining his or her personality traits, physical and mental
attributes, and the degree of happiness and success attained throughout that
person's lifetime. The Chinese Zodiac consists of a twelve-year cycle, each
year of which is named after a different animal totem that imparts distinct
characteristics to those born in a given year. If you have not yet found the
totem animal that truly resonates with your inner self, perhaps you will be
able to claim the animal sign of your birth year as your spirit helper. (If you
were born before 1936, add twelve to the year you were born in to determine
your year and sign.)
NOTE:
The Chinese new year begins on February 1st of each year so if your
birthday is in January then you belong to the year before, eg if you were born
in January 1963 you would not be a Rabbit you would be a Tiger.
